In its seventh year of its most recent incarnation the Team Ontario program has had a successful run. The Canadian Lacrosse Association started Minor Nationals again in 2004 starting with the PeeWee division. In 2005 the CLA added Bantam, and then Midget in 2008 and Bantam Girls in 2009.

In its seventh year of its most recent incarnation the Team Ontario program has had a successful run. The Canadian Lacrosse Association started Minor Nationals again in 2004 starting with the PeeWee division. In 2005 the CLA added Bantam, and then Midget in 2008 and Bantam Girls in 2009.
In 2009 Midget Field (formerly U16) and Junior Field (formerly U19) joined the Team Ontario program.
This year the Women’s Field division will join the Team Ontario program with a U16 Girls Team. Although the CLA does not currently have a National Tournament for women’s field, with steady growth in this division there are plans for a future tournament.
